BMCD’s 9th Annual Public Health Mosquito Control Workshop 4/16/2025

It is that time of the year again! Beach Mosquito Control District will be hosting their annual public health workshop. This workshop provides training & learning for mosquito control professionals, while providing them with the required continuing education credits for their varied licenses.

Industry professional gather at BMCD’s headquarters in order to network, share new strategies, new technologies and products in the shared mission to better serve the public’s health and well being. The topics to be presented include The Public Health message and social media, Pesticide resistance monitoring, public waterways and product labels, field identification of certain mosquito species, venomous & other field work hazards, Unmanned aerial systems among others.

BMCD’s 9th Annual Workshop, like previous workshops, have grown and continue to fill to capacity with attendees of different districts from all over Florida’s panhandle and beyond.
